Pathways2Resilience supports regions and communities across Europe in developing transformative approaches to climate adaptation and building long-term climate resilience.
About the project
Pathways2Resilience is a Horizon Europe project supporting regions and communities in developing climate resilience strategies, action plans and investment plans.
The programme combines learning, peer exchange and practical support, enabling participating regions to assess their resilience needs, strengthen their capacity and develop locally relevant approaches to climate adaptation.
Participants can access tailored training, peer mentoring, Innovation Practice Groups and other resources through the programme’s Regional Resilience Journey.
The project runs from January 2023 to December 2027 and is funded under Horizon Europe through grant agreement No 101093942.
WHAT THE PROJECT AIMS TO ACHIEVE
Pathways2Resilience aims to help regions move from understanding climate risks to developing and implementing transformative adaptation strategies.
The programme supports regions in strengthening governance, knowledge and data, finance and resources, capabilities and skills, as well as engagement and innovation.
It also explores innovative approaches to adaptation finance, helping participating regions develop investment plans and identify mechanisms that can support the implementation of resilience measures.
MAGFI’S CONTRIBUTION
Magfi supported stakeholder engagement, with a focus on involving local private businesses working in sustainable innovation or with the potential to adopt innovative solutions.
Our work included mapping potential sustainable innovation champions, encouraging their participation in the implementation of the project’s Local Adaptation and Climate Action Plans (LACAPs), identifying incentives linked to new clients, investment and funding opportunities, and facilitating collaboration among businesses and other stakeholders.
